Description

What’s special about this guitar: This is a great sounding earlier model Taylor 310CE with fantastic playability! Because it is a slightly earlier model, the wood has had some time to mature giving the guitar a nice, natural warm tone. This particular piece has plenty of body and volume and is of the better sounding 310CE’s we’ve had here in the shop. The guitar does show some play wear but has a great overall feel with a comfortable neck profile!

Condition: Good shape overall! There are plenty of scratches, pick scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the guitar with some areas of finish worn through to the bare wood from normal play wear particularly around the sound hole. There are some small finish chips along the binding and some deeper scratches throughout the guitar but no major cracks or repairs. Two bridge pins have been replaced and one of them is white. They all function fine however. The fingerboard and frets are in very good shape with only very light play wear and tons of life left in them. The action is a touch higher towards the upper registers but is comfortable overall. The truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.

Body: Double-bound, single cutaway body with spruce top and sapele back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with a compensated saddle, tortoise pickguard and multiple inlaid rings around the sound hole. Being an earlier Taylor, this guitar features the electronics preamp on the side of the body.

Neck: Tropical Mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 ¾” scale length. Grover tuners, 25.5” scale length.

Pickups/Electronics: Taylor Prefix Plus Fishman preamp with controls for volume, notch, frequency, phase, bass, contour, treble and brilliance.

Weight: 5lbs, 0.3oz.

Case: Includes an original hardshell case.
