Description
One of the most popular acoustics on the planet, the Taylor 510-CE is a real workhorse dreadnought, whether on stage or in the studio. This early version features a Fishman Prefix onboard electronics & has been professionally set up by us so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches & some finish disruption/blemishes throughout the guitar, but most notably near the preamp. It appears to may be a bit of moisture damage, but it's purely cosmetic & does not affect the playability or sound quality of the guitar.
Neck: Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl diamond inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Rosewood headstock venner & Grover Rotomatic tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Cutaway dreadnought body in natural finish with tortoise binding on the top & back. Solid spruce top with tortoise pickguard & abalone rosette. Ebony bridge & end pins with compensated saddle. Solid mahogany back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 12.5 oz.
Electronics: Fishman Prefix side-mounted preamp. The phase switch is a bit scratchy.
Case: Original hardshell case included. One of the clasps broke off, but is included with the guitar.
