Description
The Builder's Edition 614ce was conceived by Taylor designer Andy Powers to give players a superb playing experience, with in-hand feel, sound, and aesthetics that are second-to-none. This 614ce Builder's Edition starts with V-Class bracing, Taylor's revolutionary new bracing style that provides improved volume, sustain, and overall projection. Its Sitka spruce top has been roasted to give a more "broken-in" feel, while the guitar's Grand Auditorium body and Big Leaf maple back/sides provide a rock-solid tonal foundation. The guitar also has several features that make it quite comfortable to play. These include a beveled armrest, beveled body edge treatment, a double-carved cutaway, and a Hard Rock Maple neck and West African Ebony fingerboard. This Taylor is also graced by the exceptional Expression System-2 electronics, providing lively, high-quality electric tone through an under-saddle pickup. And thanks to Gold Gotoh 510 tuners, a Wild Honey Burst back/side/neck finish, and mother of pearl Sceptor inlays, you get a guitar with elegant looks to match its high-quality tone and feel.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent overall condition. This Taylor has a few small surface/pick scratches, but these are quite small and do not affect playability. This guitar was well-taken care of and it is nearly spotless. Plus, it comes with fresh strings and low action, courtesy of Cream City Music's signature setup.
