Description
This is a gorgeous used Taylor 814-CE Grand Auditorium acoustic. The 814CE is a very versatile model. It features great balance, plenty of warmth, excellent articulation for fingerstyle yet packs enough punch to be a great all-around strummer. This particular one has a very noticeable and well-defined midrange presence and projects beautifully.
Condition: Excellent condition. This guitar has been well-cared for to say the least. There are a few tiny surface scratches throughout the guitar which are nearly impossible to see. This instrument was undoubtedly babied by its previous owner! The neck is perfectly straight, the frets are pristine and all electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound, grand auditorium shaped body with a solid Sitka Spruce to and Indian Rosewood back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with a Micarta saddle, Ebony pickguard and an abalone rosette.
Neck: Tropical mahogany neck with a bound Ebony fingerboard. Mother of pearl inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Bound headstock with Taylor nickel tuners, 25 ½” scale length.
Pickup System: Taylor Expression System 2 with controls for volume, treble and bass.
Weight: 4lbs, 10.3oz.
Case: Includes the original hardshell case.
