Built with a solid spruce top for optimal projection, clarity and resonance, this compact Grand Concert acoustic-electric features radiused fretboard and a 1 7/8" nut width that provides ample string spacing for fingerstyle play without putting undue strain on your fretting hand. And with built-in ES-N electronics and a lightweight gig bag for protection, the Academy 12e-N has everything a budding player could need.
Cosmetic Condition: There's a small repaired dent/crack in the back of the body, but otherwise the guitar is in great shape.
Neck: Mahogany neck with West African crelicam ebony fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Slotted headstock with classical nickel tuners. 1 7/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Grand Concert size body with solid Lutz spruce top & "rope" rosette. This natural hybrid of Sitka and White spruce also shares characteristics with Adirondack spruce, responding with power, richness and volume. Crelicam ebony bridge with compensated saddle. Layered sapele back & sides. Guitar weighs 3 lbs 13.9 oz.
Electronics: ES-B pickup/preamp combo includes a built-in digital chromatic tuner.
