The first model to feature Taylor's scaled-down GT (Grand Theater) body shape, the GTe Urban Ash serves up a bold acoustic voice with surprising low-end power and a comfortable feel. The asymmetrical C-Class bracing adapts the V-Class concept to a smaller body, pushing more volume and sustain along with a boost to this model's bass response. The responsibly sourced Urban Ash tonewood resonates with sonic character similar to mahogany, with a strong fundamental focus and a woody midrange. The guitar is finished with Urban Sienna stain on the back and sides, and includes ES2 electronics and a durable AeroCase.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Tropical mahogany neck with Eucalyptus fingerboard & Italian acrylic Pinnacle inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Taylor diecast tuners & black heel cap. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 1/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Grand Theater body in natural satin finish. Solid sitka spruce top with tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Urban ash back & sides. Guitar weighs 3 lbs 14.2 oz.
