Description
Condition: Very good overall condition! Various surface scratches and a few tiny dings throughout the entire instrument. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. Neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound “F” style body with solid hand-carved fully graduated spruce top and maple back and sides in sunburst finish. There is some gorgeous flame figuring throughout the back and sides! Nickel tailpiece with engraved cover, compensated adjustable Ebony saddle and dual “F’ holes.
Neck: rounded “V’ profile maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 1/8” nut. Grover tuners with pearloid buttons, 13 ¾” scale length. \
Playability/Sound: This is a gorgeous sounding mandolin that was designed for players who wanted a high quality, great sounding instrument but didn’t need all the fancy appointments. The hand-carved solid top, back and sides really give this instrument some beautiful resonance and a rich overall tone. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
