Description
A dynamite 5-String, USA-made Carvin bass with active electronics. The all-black look looks super cool & thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, the bass is ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with some typical mild play wear - various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches. It appears the pickguard was painted black & there's some bubbling in the paint. Overall the bass looks good & has a cool vibe to it.
Neck: Maple/walnut neck with ebony fingerboard & silver side-dots. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Carvin diecast tuners work perfectly. Truss rod cover says Sweet Daddy. 1.75" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid body finished in black. Optional string-thru or top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles & black hardware. Single-ply silver pickguard was painted black. Bass weighs 9 lbs 5.4 oz.
Electronics: Carvin bass pickups with active electronics. Unoriginal preamp; volume & tone controls with mini toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
