What makes this guitar special: The Magnatar is built with a solid magnesium neck through the entire guitar that is attached to two alder wood bolt on body wings. This design provides tremendous frequency response all across the board with amazing tone and clarity. Neck straightness will not distort or change geometry over time with reasonable treatment. The guitar has been professionally set up & is ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with a few minor nicks, dings & mild surface scratches.
Neck: Solid magnesium neck through body design with 14" radius metal fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. 22 jumbo frets are in great shape with no wear. Steinberger gearless tuners are in good working condition. 1.7" brass nut; 25.5" scale length.
Body: Neck through design with solid alder wings. Schaller tailpiece & roller bridge with gold hardware. Single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 13.3 oz.
Pickups: Lace Alumitone pickups with gold bezels. This radical departure from pickup design is aluminum based, rather than copper. Result: less resistance, higher output coupled to a "current driven design" as opposed to conventional voltage based pickups. Master volume & tone controls with gold knurled knobs & pearloid caps; 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Squier hardshell case included along with gold strap locks.
