Description
The G&L Comanche is Leo’s final word on the traditional double-cutaway bolt-on axe. Fact is, the first thing you’ll notice about the Comanche is the distinctive shape of the Magnetic Field Design Z-Coil pickups designed by Leo Fender himself. These pickups deliver a bright and sparkly top end while offering a robust bottom end, all without any 60-cycle hum. You’ll find plenty of power in the Z-coil pickups, but what’s surprising is how glassy and detailed they become as you roll back the volume and bass controls.
Cosmetic Condition: There are a couple of deep scuff marks/finish blemishes on the top of the body near the bottom strap button. Aside from that the guitar is fairly clean with various surface scratches.
Neck: Maple neck with black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with black pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Locking tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in Blueburst finish. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & original trem arm included. 3-ply white pearloid pickguard & single-ply white trem cover. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.4 oz.
Electronics: MFD Z-Coil pickups. Bridge - 4.94K ohms; Middle - 4.86K ohms; Neck - 4.86K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with knurled knobs. 5-way pickup selector switch with 2-way mini toggle for series/parallel.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
