Description
What makes this guitar special: Jerry Jones started building custom guitars in '81 in Nashville, TN. He retired in 2011 & is no longer producing guitars in the United States. This gorgeous Shorthorn model is based on Danelectro's Standard Double Pickup model made in late '50s to mid '60s. The white, 'seal shaped' pickguard version is often referred to as the Jimmy Page model because he used one throughout his career. Another classic 1950s instrument with modern refinements. The traditional double cutaway body shape gives great access to upper frets. The Shorthorn guitar has traditional retro styling matched with Jerry's Lipstick-tube pickups producing a real honking tone. Large radius fingerboard also makes the Shorthorn a great choice for slide! Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
