Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a unique guitar designed by/after Neal Schon of Journey’s custom specs. The slim neck is very easy to move around, especially considering the shape of the comfortable neck heel contour when you reach the upper frets. Aesthetically, this guitar is relatively simple but has a bit of sparkle in all the right places, including the dual split parallelograms in the 12th fret of the ebony fingerboard, chrome hardware, and slick Ferrari-style tailpiece. In addition, this guitar is incredibly clean and comes with a great setup from our expert techs so it plays like butter from the nut to the cutaway.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It only possesses a few areas of light surface scratching and a few dings throughout the body and neck, but otherwise is very clean and looks fantastic. The frets show very little wear and still have a lifetime of use left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Single cutaway contoured body with contoured neck heel. Tune-O-Matic bridge and strings through body setup with “Ferrari Tails” tailpiece. Top-stepped knurled chrome knobs with groove indicators/pointers and chrome 3-way pickup switch tip. Chrome pickup covers.
Neck: Slim neck and ebony fingerboard with double split parallelograms in the 12th fret and grained ivoroid binding. Chrome Sperzel locking tuners and grained ivoroid-bound headstock.
Electronics: USA Made DiMarzio Humbuckers. 1 x Volume, 1 x Tone, 3-way selector switch.
Weight: 8 lbs 12.3 oz
Playability/Sound: The slim neck on this guitar makes it a breeze to move around, especially with the low action our techs have set it up with. The DiMarzio humbuckers have a nice, full and even response with a decent range between the neck and bridge.
