Description
A 2016 Verellen Neutron tube amp head. Known for their attractive custom builds, Verellen has become a leader in high-wattage, boutique guitar and bass heads. The Neutron does not disappoint in the high-wattage department. It features two fully independent 100-watt tube tube amps, each fed by its own vintage-inspired preamp. Amp #1 is your classic 60s-style Blackface tone, with fantastic cleans and high-compatibility with pedalboards. Amp #2 is based off the iconic 70s Orange/Matamp high-powered heads, with thick, doom-y overdrive tones when cranked or driven with a pedal. Either amp can be used independently for stereo operation or, if you plug only into channel #1, your signal is internally jumped to channel #2 for the loudest stage tone you've ever experienced.
Condition-wise, the amp has clearly seen consistent use. The cabinet bears the nicks and scuffs that you'd expect from a well-used gigging amp. Cosmetics aside, the amp is built like a tank and has many decades of high-decibel rock in its future. This amp has been serviced and tested. It is fully functional and sounds absolutely fantastic.
