Description
Condition: This is a great playing bass with a brilliant, robust sound. There are various scratches, some small dings, very light buckle rash on the back and some areas of play wear on the top that have worn down to the bare wood. Fingerboard and frets have only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight. There is a little more relief on the bass side than the treble side but the playability is excellent with comfortable action up and down the neck. The truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid double cutaway maple body in a beautiful translucent finish. Two-piece Wariwick tailpiece/bridge with four individual saddles. Knurled control knobs and a black back cover plate.
Neck: Nicely rounded Wenge neck and fingerboard with pearloid side dots and a 1 7/16” brass nut. Sealed Warwick tuners, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: MEC Dynamic Correction pickups in the middle and bridge position. Master volume control, pickup blend control and a master tone control.
Neck: 9.24K Ohms.
Bridge: 9.23K Ohms.
Weight: 9lbs, 2.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a very versatile bass with an excellent sound. The pickups are capable of anything from a punchy sound that’ll cut through any mix to a full, round and mellow tone that will fill out any mix beautifully. The slender neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
