A gorgeous sounding Jethro Burns F-Style that delivers powerful, punchy tones perfect for any style of music. Created in collaboration with Jethro Burns, the M6SW features a carved solid AAA spruce top with book-matched solid AAA flame maple back & sides for a bright sound and excellent projection. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Aside from a small crack in the bottom of the body, the mandolin is in great shape.
Neck: Flame maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with acrylic inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl inlay. Open-back strip tuners with pearloid buttons. 1 1/8" nut width; 14" scale length.
Body: Carved, solid spruce top with dual F-holes & Herringbone purfling. Bass-side scroll & two treble-side points. Gold high-mass tailpiece with compensated ebony bridge on a floating base. Solid flame maple back & sides with arched back. Mandolin weighs 2 lbs 10.2 oz.
Electronics: Under-saddle passive pickup with side-mounted 1/4" jack.
