Yamaha's RGX820Z is an excellent choice for players seeking a powerful guitar with a unique, versatile voice. Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in very good shape for its age. There's light wear from picking/playing, but there are no significant dings, dents, or scratches.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, white side dots, & black Sperzel Trim-Lok locking tuners. The frets have minimal wear, the neck is straight, and the truss rod is functional. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck measures 0.78" thick at the 1st fret and 0.89" thick at the 12th.
Body: Solid alder body with flame maple top and a translucent dark red gloss finish. The RGX820Z sports a piezo-loaded R1000P bridge with stainless steel saddles, and its curved design eliminates the need for individual string adjustments. Ships with a non-original chrome trem arm. Weighs 7 lbs. 4.8 oz.
Electronics: When plugged into output jack #1 (the bottom one), a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers produce a thick, crunchy tone, great for rock and high-gain music. When plugged into output jack #2 (the top one), the piezo pickup and the humbuckers are both engaged. The 2-way pickup selector, volume, and tone controls work when plugged into output jack #1, while the 3-way pickup selector and stacked knobs (volume control, pan for magnetic/piezo pickup) work when plugged into output jack #2. All electronics are fully functional.
