What makes this guitar special: A sweet sounding, true vintage beauty with a gorgeous tone. Classic sunburst finish with firestripe pickguard & a chunky, v-shaped neck.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are a few professionally repaired top cracks that our luthier glued & cleated. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-back, strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 3/4" nut width; 25" scale length. The action is high on this guitar due to the neck angle. The neck has never been off & was just poorly attached to the body at the factory. The string height at the 12th fret is about 1/4" - perfect for slide or playing cowboy chords.
Body: Solid spruce top with binding. Rosewood bridge with black end pins. Firestripe pickguard & 3-ply rosette. Mahogany back & sides with no binding. Guitar weighs 3 lbs 4.9 oz.
