Description
Condition: Very good overall. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. There is one deep scratch under the high e string between the control knobs (see photos). Fingerboard and frets are immaculate. There is a slight bow in the neck when tuned to pitch but it does not affect the structure or playability of the guitar. Tuners are unoriginal but in perfect working condition. All electronics are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany neck-through body with mahogany wings in sunburst finish with gold floral artwork on the top. Nickel tailpiece, mahogany pickup cover, dual control knobs with control plates on top and a metal electronics compartment cover on back.
Neck: Square mahogany neck with mahogany fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 2” nut. Nickel open-gear tuners, 25 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single coil pickup with master volume control, master tone control and a volume boost switch on back. Volume control is not designed to go all the way down and has a control plate ranging from 55 – 150 (see photos).

Playability/Sound: The pickup on this lap steel has a very unique, vintage tone. The controls can all be utilized to obtain a huge variety of different sounds. The neck width is very comfortable and affords enough space between the strings without being too wide. The art work is one-of-a-kind and really makes this instrument stand out!
Case: Includes original hardshell case. Includes in the case are a vintage music book, two thumb picks, instrument cable which is broken, and an original note from the Oahu Publishing Company explaining the functions of the instrument.
