100% original & in great shape for being 65 years old! The guitar is very light weight & the natural finish is still very strong. In fact the photos really don't do it justice as it looks much more magnificent in person. Professionally set up with nice, low action; neck plays well & is very comfortable. Warm, rich tone with a beautiful acoustic resonance.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & lots of finish checking. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Overall the guitar has a wonderful, authentic vintage look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Medium profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Single Florentine cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Bound top & back. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with compensated rosewood bridge on a floating rosewood base. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with some pick wear, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 7.2 oz.
Electronics: Dog ear P-90 single coil neck pickup with black cover - 8.79K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold barrel knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original Lifton hardshell case included along with the original key & hang tag!
