Vintage 1959 Gibson J-160E Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar
A 1959 Gibson J-160E dreadnought acoustic electric guitar in sunburst finish.
Cosmetic Condition: Groovy vintage vibe with just the right look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear - all genuine from years of play. Overall the guitar has a great look to is with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Medium-profile mahogany neck with nicely aged, cream-colored binding. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Original frets show some light wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition, all with their original buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Round shoulder dreadnought body with spruce top & mahogany back & sides. Rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle; tortoise-style pickguard.
Pickup: P-90 single coil pickup with good output - 9.56K ohms. Single volume & tone controls with gold top hat knobs. Nice action - neck plays & feels great; sweet tone - perfect for all those Beatles fans looking to capture that distinct sound.
