What’s special about this guitar: This is a very unique sounding, rare guitar with fantastic playability and its in great shape for its age! Features include a double-cutaway body, vibrato tailpiece and bridge, three Split Sound pickups which provide a very unique sound and a rotary switch with some very cool pickup settings. With pickup settings ranging from “wild dog” to “Split Sound”, this guitar is sure to offer a little something for everyone. The neck on this instrument is also particularly comfortable. It has a great shape and the action is perfect!
Condition: This guitar is in beautiful shape for its age! There are various minor surface scratches and some small nicks and dings throughout the guitar but overall it is very clean! The fingerboard and frets have light play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured double-cutaway body in sunburst finish. Vibrato bridge with six individual saddles and a trem arm. Two-ply black pickguard with “Ampeg by Burns of London” on the treble side and three metal control knobs mounted to the pickguard.
Neck: Super comfortable and nicely rounded maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. White dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed nickel tuners, 23 ¼” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Burns Split-Sound single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge. Master volume and tone controls and a 4-way rotary selector switch with settings for Wild Dog, Treble, Jazz and Split Sound.
