What makes this banjo special: 100% original & in great shape for its age. A fun 4-string with a warm, spanky tone. Beautiful 3-tone sunburst finish & original hardshell case included. The banjo has been professionally set up by our luthier so it plays wonderfully!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for its age - there are various minor nicks & dings throughout along with mild surface scratches. There's some finish wear/chipping along the top of the resonator from the strap rubbing against it & some finish wear to the arm rest. Overall the banjo is in great shape & shows off a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Super dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/16" nut width; 26 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.
Body: Bound maple resonator in 3-tone sunburst finish. Metal flange with 24 lugs. 11" head with maple bridge. Banjo weighs 8 lbs 2.4 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with a vintage strap.
