What makes this guitar special: A fun, player's grade Anniversary model with a cool vintage vibe. You can just make out the faint outline of a patch in the top where a previous pickup had been & that middle section was refinished. The guitar actually plays rather well & has a nice, woody tone. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of wear & tear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The binding shows some deterioration throughout, and there is obvious seam separation in the neck & top of the headstock. The separation is quite stable, however, and does not affect playability. There are cracks in the headstock overlay & as previously mentioned, there is a patch in the top of the body from a prior pickup. Overall the guitar has a cool vintage look with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Small frets are in good condition with no real wear. Grover Sta-Tite tuners are in good working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. "G" Cutout tailpiece with Space Control bridge & silver plexi pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.8 oz.
Electronics: HiLo Tron single coil with silver bezel. Master volume with "G" Arrow knob & tone switch.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case is in about the same condition as the guitar with rusted metal parts.
