Description
What makes this bass special: A fun little short scale bass made in England sometime in the early to mid '60s. A pair of single coils kick out a warm, thumpy tone & the slender neck is super comfy to play. Professionally set up by our luthier with low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Good condition overall with some typical wear - various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches & some cracks in the body finish. The low E tuner button is unoriginal, but all components are in good working condition. Overall the bass has a cool look with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile neck with stained fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Open-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width with zero fret; 29 1/2" scale length. The bass is currently fitted with flatwound strings.
Body: Solid body finished in red. Top-loading bridge with two adjustable saddles & Vox branded bridge cover. Thick, 3-ply white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Bass weighs 6 lbs 1.9 oz.
Pickups: Two single coils with Vox logo on the bridge pickup. Dual volume & master tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are original & in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
