What makes this guitar special: A true road warrior with a killer vintage vibe. This one's been around the block a few times, but still retains its sparkling essence. A true player with lots of charm, this small body acoustic offers a warm, rich woody tone, providing hours of playing entertainment. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays great.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest wear & tear, and lots of it! Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & heavy finish wear. The finish has actually peeled off in certain areas down to bare wood. There are multiple cracks in the body that have been glued. There's also a headstock crack that was professionally repaired & the area oversprayed. Despite its less than glamorous look, the guitar has tons of character & sounds amazing!
Neck: Rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are original & have been dressed so they are showing no real wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions properly.
Body: Solid spruce top in sunburst finish with single-ply binding. The ladder brace just under the soundhole appears to be a replacement. Rosewood bridge with mother of pearl dots & black end pins. Large tortoise pickguard & 3-ply rosette. Mahogany back & sides with single-ply binding. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 0.7 oz.
