Description

What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful sounding Gibson LG-O in great overall shape for its age! This guitar has had some work done to it including replacing the original plastic bridge with a rosewood bridge. This is actually a major improvement and really brought out the potential of this guitar. Other features include and all-mahogany body, super comfortable mahogany neck and as previously mentioned this guitar is very clean overall! The guitar has a warm tone with just the right amount of mids to round out the sound nicely.

Condition: Great shape, especially for a 1962 Gibson! There are various light scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar with some buckle rash on the back but nothing major. The original bridge and bridge plate have been professionally replaced yielding fantastic results. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. All parts are in perfect working condition.

Body: Double-bound body with mahogany top, back and sides in natural finish. Rosewood bridge with a compensated ivoroid saddle, tortoise pickguard held on by three screws and a single black ring around the sound hole.

Neck: Super comfortable and nicely rounded mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Three-on-a-strip tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24.6” scale length.

Weight: 3lbs, 14.3oz.

Case: Includes a vintage chipboard case.
