What makes this guitar special: Last year the Les Paul name was used for this model before changing over to SG. A superb player with killer tone & action. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so she's ready to go straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: This was obviously someone's go-to guitar as evidenced by all the play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. There's a minor repair around the input jack from the surface wood cracking a bit, but it was professionally done & no longer an issue. The repair looks like it was done quite a long time ago actually. Overall the guitar has a wonderful, well-played look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Wide, nicely rounded, one-piece mahogany neck with replaced white side-dots. Beautiful, dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets were professionally dressed & show no wear. Newer repro Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning.
Body: Contoured, solid, one-piece mahogany body finished in classic Cherry. Tremolo tailpiece & compensated bridge with nickel hardware. 3-ply black pickguard has a small crack near one of the screws & tiny piece chipped off near another. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 8.2 oz.
Pickup: Dog-ear P-90 single coil with black cover - 8.28K ohms. The previous owner painted the bottom edge of the pickup white. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
Case: The original faux alligator chipboard case is included, but it's in very rough shape & really not usable so we are also including a nice Roadrunner hardshell case as well.
