Description
A vintage 1963 Gretsch 6156 Playboy 17W tube combo amp in great cosmetic condition. With a circuit nearly identical to the highly sought-after Supro 1624T, these sleeper amps are becoming increasingly hard to come by. It's two 6973 power tubes are good for 17 watts into its original vintage 10-inch Jensen speaker. The amp sports a warm, tweed-esque overdrive tone and a sweet, tube-driven tremolo. It has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functional and sounds awesome.
