Description
Cosmetic Condition: This gorgeous little guitar was just recently acquired from the original owner & has a cool vintage vibe to it. Various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, light weather checking & mild finish blemishes. The back of the bridge is pulling up just a slight bit in the middle section behind the bridge pins, but it's not too bad really & doesn't affect playability or sound quality. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Super slender profile mahogany neck with cream side dots. Beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 23" scale length.
Body: Solid spruce top with ladder bracing. Plastic bridge with adjustable saddle. Small tortoise-style pickguard & 3-ply rosette. Mahogany back & sides with bound back & 3-ply bound top. 12 3/4" lower bout width; 8 3/4" upper bout width; 4" depth. Body length is 17 1/4" & overall length is 36 1/2".
Playability / Sound: The guitar has been professionally set up by our tech with a fresh set of strings. The action is low & the guitar plays quite well. It has a sweet, bright sound with a nice ringing tone. Its small size makes it a lot of fun to play & is the perfect couch guitar!
