What makes this guitar special: A really fun student grade model from the '60s featuring a solid maple body & chunky maple neck in sunburst finish. Loaded with a pair of dynamite sounding DeArmond single coils that kick out clear, bell-like tones. Professionally set up & ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear - all the great hallmarks of a true vintage guitar. The previous owner wrote some coordinates in silver marker on the back of the headstock.
Neck: Chunky maple neck with dark stained fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Six-on-a-strip tuners in good working condition. The string ferules are missing from the D & high E strings, but they still function fine. 1 3/4" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid maple body in sunburst finish. One-piece tailpiece/cover with floating wooden bridge. Single-ply white pickguard has one tiny crack in the treble side horn. The underside of the pickguard reads NOV 3 1964. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 0.2 oz.
Electronics: DeArmond single coils. Bridge - 11.09K ohms; Neck - 11.15K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '64 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
