Description

What makes this guitar special:  A really fun student grade model from the '60s featuring a solid maple body & chunky maple neck in sunburst finish.  Loaded with a pair of dynamite sounding DeArmond single coils that kick out clear, bell-like tones.  Professionally set up & ready for action upon arrival.

Cosmetic Condition:  Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear - all the great hallmarks of a true vintage guitar.  The previous owner wrote some coordinates in silver marker on the back of the headstock.

Neck:  Chunky maple neck with dark stained fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays.  Six-on-a-strip tuners in good working condition.  The string ferules are missing from the D & high E strings, but they still function fine.  1 3/4" nut width; 24" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Solid maple body in sunburst finish.  One-piece tailpiece/cover with floating wooden bridge.  Single-ply white pickguard has one tiny crack in the treble side horn.  The underside of the pickguard reads NOV 3 1964.  Guitar weighs 6 lbs 0.2 oz.

Electronics:  DeArmond single coils.  Bridge - 11.09K ohms; Neck - 11.15K ohms.  Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch.  Pots date to '64 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case:  Padded gig bag included.
