Cosmetic Condition: Beautiful vintage guitar with a cool vibe. The sunburst finish is very strong & the checkerboard binding really pops! There are various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. A few small cracks in the body binding, but no major issues. The guitar has a sweet, resonant acoustic tone & is tons of fun to play!
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Strat-style headstock with black overlay & gold decals. F-logo tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 19 DEC 66 B.
Body: Double bound, hollow maple body in a gorgeous 3-tone sunburst finish. Eye-catching, checkerboard binding on the top & bound F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with F logo & floating adjustable bridge. 4-ply gold pickguard in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 15.5 oz.
Pickups: Fender embossed single coils. Bridge - 9.86K ohms; Neck - 10.64K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - neck plays well & is very comfortable. Warm, rich tone that is very resonant.
