Description
Cosmetic Condition: A little rough, but has a really cool vintage vibe to it. There are various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. There is a crack in the top running through the treble side of the sound hole between the neck & pickguard. The crack near the neck has been glued, but the crack near the bridge has not. Overall the guitar has that authentic, well-played look with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 2" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works well.
Body: Small body acoustic with solid spruce top & X-bracing. Unoriginal chrome trapeze tailpiece. Original Brazilian rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. Tortoise-style pickguard with 3-ply rosette. Mahogany back & sides with bound top & back. 14 1/2" lower bout width; 11 1/4" upper bout width; 4 1/2" depth.
Pickup: Simple, after-market passive pickup added with unoriginal input jack.
Playability / Sound: Nice action - neck is comfortable & neck plays well. Bright, jangly tone
