Description
What makes this guitar special: A real vintage beater with a bright, punchy tone. The previous owner must have really loved Randy Rhoads & Zak Wylde because their names are scratched into the top of the guitar in several places along with some other names. It seems a bit odd since neither guitarist was really known for his acoustic playing, although Randy was quite an accomplished classical player. At any rate, it is what it is & we are selling the guitar as is. Some large cracks were professionally repaired by us & the guitar is set up ready to play.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & large repaired cracks in the back of the body. One cracks actually runs the entire length of the body. Again, they've all been professionally glued & cleated, so they are now stable.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought body with multi-bound top & back. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & adjustable saddle. Large tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides; no pickup. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 6.3 oz.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
