Cosmetic Condition: We recently acquired this gorgeous guitar as part of a small collection. Every piece in the collection was well preserved & kept in excellent condition. This beautiful little tenor shows some signs of light wear, but is in great shape overall. There is a 2 pressed into the back of the headstock, indicating it's a factory second. However, there are no issues with the guitar concerning its sound or playability. There are various minor nicks, dents & dings; light surface scratches & mild weather checking. The sunburst finish is very strong & vibrant and the guitar is free of any cracks, breaks or repairs. The guitar is 100% original & has been professionally set up by us so it plays & sounds fantastic.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inalys. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/16" nut width; 23" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fingerboard.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with only minor warping. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 2.6 oz & is very resonant. A strap button was tastefully added to the bass-side of the body.
Pickup: P-90 single coil - 9.11K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Vintage deluxe chipboard case included.
