Description
A vintage 1970 Gretsch Model 6162 Dual Twin Reverb in player grade cosmetic condition. This is the latest production date we've ever seen on a Gretsch-branded tube amp. With its cathode-biased dual 6L6 power section, this amp is good for 25 watts into dual 10" Jensen speakers--perfect for recording, rehearsals and club gigs. The unique tone control offers the user to shape the signal much more than the standard treble-cut control found in most volume-tone circuits. Like many Gretsch amps from this era, the overdrive tone rocks. Surprisingly, though, this amp has an exceptional clean tone, plus the best reverb we've ever heard in a Gretsh amp (probably thanks to the replacement tank). Top it all off with a smooth, all-tube tremolo and you have a whole lot of vintage bang for your buck. This amp has been serviced and tested. It is fully functional and sounds awesome.
