Description

What makes this guitar special:  Originally a budget model in the Harmony line, this cool H-82G Rebel sports a very unique avocado greenburst finish.  Also, rather than a traditional toggle switch & control knobs, the guitar features on/off pickup switches with volume & tone faders.  The DeArmond "gold foil" single coils sound fantastic, especially through the fully hollow body.  Delivering warm, rich, woody tones with a gorgeous natural acoustic resonance, this sweet little player is guaranteed to please & is tons of fun to play.  Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds wonderful.

Cosmetic Condition:  Really nice shape for its age with basically typical, mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear.  The previous owner wrote latitude & longitude coordinates on the back of the headstock in silver marker along with the Roman numeral III.  Not sure what that's all about, but it's interesting nonetheless.  Overall the guitar has a cool, vintage vibe to it with a nice patina.

Neck:  Semi-chunky, nicely rounded neck with a dark stained fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays.  Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear.  Six-on-a-strip tuners are in good working condition.  1 3/4" nut width; 24" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Double-bound, hollow body with single F-hole.  Simple tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable roller bridge.  3-ply white pickguard & control plate with white plastic strap buttons.  Guitar weighs 5 lbs 1 oz.

Electronics:  DeArmond "gold foil" single coils.  Bridge - 6.86K ohms; Neck - 6.53K ohms.  On/Off switches for each pickup; dual volume & tone control faders.  All electronics are in good working condition.

Case:  Vintage chipboard case included.
