Description

What Makes This Guitar Special: The more we see recreations of classic models, especially those that are being relic’d, it can start to be easy for folks to forget just how cool and irreplaceable true vintage mojo and character is. Heavily checked but still rock solid, these are exactly the kind of guitars we love to be able to offer. All the attitude, soul, and sound you’ve been after, and all for under a thousand dollars. Thoroughly inspected and set-up by the experts at Cream City Music, your newest Gibson will be arriving at your door ready to go straight out of the box.

Cosmetic Condition: Heavy finish checking around the entire body, some finish checking on the neck, and light surface scratches in the clear coat on the back of the body, as well. Various small dings and good honest play wear across the board. This dreadnought is still functionally sound and the cosmetics really lend themselves to the amazing vibe that’s so immediately striking about this instrument. A StewMac Bridge Doctor has been installed inside the guitar to better secure the bridge to the top. This keeps the top flat and allows for the bridge to be set-up for proper low action.

Neck: Large rounded mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays, white side dot markers, black binding around the fretboard. Kluson Deluxe tuners function perfectly. The frets are clean and play well, however, they are worn down and do not have a lot of meat left on them. 1 ¾” nut width, 25 ¼” scale length. Neck is straight and the truss rod has been evaluated and functions properly.

Body: Mahogany back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top. Rosewood bridge, single ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 4lbs 8.5 oz.

Electronics: There are no electronics featured on this guitar.

Case: Hardshell case included.
