Description
What’s special about this bass: This is simply an awesome looking bass. The sunburst finish has an authentic vintage and worn look that is complimented perfectly by the pearloid pickguard which has developed just a slight patina. To add to that, the bass sounds and plays fantastic! The neck has a very comfortable feel and the pickup provides a very punchy tone. There is a headstock repair and though the repair work was amateur, it is holding together fine. Because of this you have a great playing bass with a phenomenal tone and killer looks at a very affordable price!
Condition: This guitar is in great playing shape with an authentic vintage look! There are scratches, nicks, dings, dents, chips and weather checking throughout the bass. There are some areas throughout the edges that have worn through to the bare wood. The pickguard was previously glued to the body and we were able to safely lift the pickguard though the glue still remains. The headstock has cracked in half and was glued back together. The work was quite amateur with lots of excess flue throughout the headstock. It is however holding together and showing no movement whatsoever. Fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
