Description
What makes this guitar special: Woody, resonant tone with a slender neck makes for a comfortable playing experience. The walnut stain finish still looks great after all the years & hasn't really faded much. A pair of creamy sounding humbuckers & six-way rotary Veritone rounds out the package. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds marvelous.
Cosmetic Condition: Very nice condition for a nearly 45-year old guitar - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & mild play wear. Much of the gold has tarnished & worn off the hardware, but that only adds to the vintage charm. The D string tuner is unoriginal, but fits the same screw holes. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Super slender mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Stereo logo on truss rod cover.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with ABR-1 bridge. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.7 oz.
Pickups: Gibson Pat No humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.22K ohms; Neck - 7.66K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black 'witch hat' knobs. 3-way toggle switch; 6-way Veritone rotary knob; stereo output. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
