Description
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age - various minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Thin, flat maple neck with cream binding. Rosewood fingerboard with micro dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Chrome tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Hollow maple body with bound F-holes. Stop tailpiece with adjustable bridge. 3-ply white pickguard & control plate both in great shape with no cracks or breaks. The cherry finish is very vibrant. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 9.5 oz.
Pickups: Original Mosrite of California neck humbucker - 10.70K ohms. The original bridge humbucker was not functioning & the previous owner replaced it with an unoriginal, exposed coil humbucker - 8.68K ohms. However, the original Mosrite bridge humbucker is included with the guitar. It probably just needs to be rewound, which is very inexpensive. Master volume & tone controls with unoriginal knurled knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '71. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - neck plays well. Warm, rich tone.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
