Description
What makes this bass special: 100% original with a super cool vintage vibe. Classic sunburst finish & a smooth playing, comfortable neck. Pro set up included by the experts at Cream City Music, so she's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear. There's a small crack in the first fret of the fingerboard due to the truss rod being over tightened. This is purely cosmetic & doesn't affect playability & the truss rod does function fine. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black binding & pearloid side-dots. Maple fingerboard with black block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Fender nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions well.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & bridge cover. 4-ply tortoise pickguard & black plastic finger-rest. The guard is in great shape with no cracks. Bass weighs 10.7 lbs.
Pickups: Original Jazz Bass single coils - both pickups date to '72. Dual volume & master tone controls - pots date to '72. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
