What makes this bass special: A wonderful player's grade fretless bass finished in a beautiful sienna burst. The bass started out its life with frets & has been heavily modified over the years. It's got a great vibe & dynamic tone. Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & perfect action!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with some minor nicks & chips. There's a small crack in the headstock along the bass side near the E tuner. The crack is pretty superficial & doesn't affect playability or sound quality.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck that dates to '73. The neck originally had frets, but they were pulled out at some point & an ebony fingerboard was added. Fender tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date is 5 MAR 73 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body refinished in Siennaburst. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles. The bridge cover screw holes were filled when the body was refinished. Bridge cover is missing. Unoriginal 3-ply white pickguard. Bass weighs 8 lbs 15.3 oz.
Pickups: Unoriginal P-Bass split coil pickup with 2-way boost toggle. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Unoriginal pots; input jack is now on the side of the body. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Later period Fender hardshell case included.
