What makes this guitar special: 100% original & in great shape for its age. This gorgeous guitar was just recently acquired from the original owner who still had the original sales receipt in the case when the guitar was purchased new back in Nov of '74 - how cool is that! Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition & very clean for its age. There are various minor nicks & dings, light surface scratches & mild weather checking.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with maple fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. There are a few small wear spots in the first two frets of the fingerboard from play & the frets themselves show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid maple body showing off some nice birdseye figuring. Stopbar tailpiece with adjustable bridge & chrome hardware. Single-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 6.8 oz.
Pickups: Dual Gibson humbuckers with chrome covers & black bezels. Master volume & dual tone controls with black speed knobs. 6-way varitone selector switch. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
