What makes this guitar special: A wonderful player's grade L6-S with a smart upgrade, namely the Alembic active pickups which sound amazing. The guitar has been professionally set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with some minor wear & tear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild weather checking. The natural finish has aged nicely into more of a golden caramel color & there's some really pretty birdseye figuring in the back of the neck.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets show some light wear & have plenty of life in them. Nickel Grover tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid maple body in natural finish. Stopbar tailpiece & Schaller "harmonica" bridge with single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.7 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal Alembic active pickups. Dual volume & master tone controls with black speed knobs. The original 6-way selector switch was removed when the original pickups were replaced.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
