Cosmetic Condition: Great condition for a nearly 40 year old bass! There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & light finish checking. It has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & plays great!
Neck: Nicely rounded & very comfortable maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with no wear. The headstock shows off a beautiful patina & the decal logos are in perfect condition. Original Fender nickel tuners in perfect working condition, as is the truss rod. 1 5/8" nut width; 30" scale length. Neck dates to 1976.
Body: Offset, contoured, solid body finished in black. 3-ply white pickguard is in great shape & has aged into a mellow cream color. Unfortunately the thumb rest is missing. The serial number on the underside of the pickguard matches the serial number on the headstock of the bass. String-thru bridge with four adjustable barrel saddles. Bass weighs 8 lbs 14.5 oz.
Pickups: Original Mustang Bass single coils with master volume & tone controls. Pots date to '76 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
