Description
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall for its age with a gorgeous patina. There are various minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. There's also an extra screw hole in the bass side, near the neck where a previous strap button had been. The guitar has been professionally set up by us & plays great. It delivers a warm, rich tone that really jumps & resonates well.
Neck: Very comfortable mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black micro dots. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. The neck was professionally reset back in 2008 & refretted with medium gauge wire. The frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with rosewood overlay. Gold engraved tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great!
Body: Solid spruce top with 8-ply binding. Rosewood bridge with black end pins & abalone inlays. Tortoise-style pickguard with abalone & mulit-layered rosette. Solid rosewood back & sides with 3-ply binding & herringbone center strip. 16" lower bout width; 11 3/4" upper bout width; 4" depth. No pickup.
Case: Original hardshell case included, also in great shape.
