Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful sounding lawsuit era Takamine dreadnought acoustic guitar. While this guitar is based off of a very popular guitar brand, it definitely has it’s own distinct sound and character. It has a very full and warm sound with a pronounced muisdrange. The high end punches through nicely and the guitar has a nice natural resonance and sustain that is very present the harder the guitar is played. The neck feels great on this one, and for the price, it’s a great sounding guitar with plenty of character!
Condition: Good overall playing shape! This guitar has been played and has the road worn look to prove it! There are plenty of finish cracks, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar along with some larger impact dents and some hazy spots along the bottom edge on the top. The fingerboard and frets are in good shape with moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. There is a large chip on the edge of the fingerboard at the 5th fret and one on the headstock but they don’t really affect playability. The neck is very comfortable with nice action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The tuners are unoriginal and screw holes from the originals are visible. A passive Barcus Berry pickup was also added. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Rosewood bridge with an ivoroid saddle, black pickguard and a multi-ring rosette.
