Description

Cosmetic Condition:  Super cool vintage vibe & a great looking guitar!  There are various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches; light finish checking & play wear.  The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & plays great.  It has a gorgeous patina & delivers sweet, rich tones!

Neck:  Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple neck with skunk stripe.  Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays.  Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Bullet truss rod & dual string trees.  Large headstock with decal logo in great shape.  F-logo tuners in perfect working condition.  1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.

Body:  Contoured, solid ash body in a beautiful natural finish.  The finish has aged perfectly into a warm, caramel color.  Tremolo tailpiece with adjustable saddles.  3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks or breaks.  The serial number on the headstock matches the serial number underneath the pickguard.  Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.5 oz - a great weight for a 70's Strat!

Pickups:  Original Fender single coils all dating to '78.  Bridge - 5.50K ohms; Middle - 5.38K ohms; Neck - 5.40K ohms.  Master volume & dual tone controls.  Because of the position of the solder points on the pots we could only read one of them, which dates to '78, but the other two are most likely from the same time frame.  5-way selector switch.

Case:  Vintage Fender hardshell case included along with the original trem arm.
