What makes this guitar special: Exceptionally clean condition & a real time capsule piece that was clearly well preserved & meticulously cared for over the years. The flame figuring is absolutely stunning & looks magnificent under the Cherry Sunburst finish. The gold hardware has barely tarnished & looks practically brand new. Cosmetic Condition: Super clean for its age with only mild blemishes - various minor nicks & dings with very light surface scratches here & there.
Neck: Slim profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Gold Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany with flame maple top & multiple binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 11.15 lbs. Oh yes, she's a hefty gal!
Electronics: Gibson Pat No humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Bridge - 7.36K ohms; Neck - 7.37K ohms. Both pickups are fairly evenly matched. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
