What makes this guitar special: All original 25th Anniversary Strat with a cool, true vintage vibe. The silver finish has aged nicely into more of a faded green, but the black Anniversary logo is still intact & looks sharp. A super comfortable neck & trio of dynamite sounding single coils complete the package. Cosmetic Condition: Used, but no abused, with typical wear for a guitar its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black dot inlays. Frets show quite a bit of wear, but there's still some play left in them. Large headstock with double string-trees. Fender sealed tuners are in good working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. Neck dates to 1980.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in anniversary silver finish. Tremolo tailpiece with adjustable saddles & original trem arm included. The serial number on the sticker in the neck pocket matches the serial number on the neck plate. 3-ply black pickguard shows lots of pickwear, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 11.1 oz.
Pickups: Original single coils with black covers & grey bottoms - all date to '80. Bridge - 5.98K ohms; Middle - 5.72K ohms; Neck - 5.82K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with black skirted knobs; 5-way selector switch. Pots date to '80 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The Machines is spray painted on the outside of the case.
